Fox Dirtpaw Gloves
Trail Bike Gloves from Fox Head
Fit
The Fox Dirtpaw gloves fit my relatively small hands really well (I do wear size small thought). These are
my third set of these gloves and I did notice with one of my other sets that one of the thumbs was stitched
a little tighter than the others, it pays to try before you buy. The fingers are the perfect length for my hands
my palm are relatively broad for the length of my fingers. The palms are relatively thick (not a minimalist glove) without offering much padding. All up, nothing strange going on with the fit.
Durability
The glove palms are extremely durable, having survived many crashes. I have been wearing one set for
a lot longer than a year and only now is the sides and back showing a lot of wear. The orange colour has
faded slightly after a number of machine washes but I have had no such issues with my red or blue set. The decals on the back of the gloves will start to come off after a lot of hard riding but I am happy with how much they cost to how long they have lasted.
Protection
The gloves have survived multiple crashes into adelaides hard, sharp rocks and have come out unscathed leaving my palms intact. In addition, the knuckly and finger protection is hand with so many spiky bushes around without being too hot. The palms do not feel like they will disintergrate at the first sign of rocks.
The Fox Dirtpaw is a winner, having bought at least 3-4 pairs over the last few years, I cant't seem to stay away.
