Port Hills Adventures - Old Naval Installation

Here are a few shots taken out of some helmet cam video of a recent ride in the Port Hills. The photo below is looking towards the estuary and Mt Pleasant. The bike is a Giant Trance that I was demoing for a few days.

Port Hills single track, I almost feel like Im out on some moorland in the UK.

Old Naval Defences for WW2, they are for the defence of Lyttelton harbour and Christchurch

You can see why they put the guns up here, excellent view of pretty much everywhere

The old gondola, back up and running after the earthquake. I doubt anyone will use it after the bike park opens.

Looking back towards Governers Bay and the Living Springs Mountain Bike Trails. Oh did I mention, more sheep.
