After Uni with Mo

New to Adelaide, Mo is a Chinese rider that is currently studying in Adelaide. After Uni we headed up to one of the DH trails in the Adelaide Hills to put his Cannondale and my new Yuneec CGO3 Steady Grip (electronically stabilized video camera) through its paces.

Traditionally a cross country rider, Mo's downhill skills are improving at a fast pace thanks to his new-found confidence and Cannondale Jekyll.

The dark skies are thanks to a massive storm system that had just passed over Adelaide dumping huge amounts of rain.

Adelaides' DH trails are either walk up or catch the train.

Checking out the drop and roll-off it didn't take Mo long to get the hang of it.

Dark in the trees and a beautiful view of the city through the branches. Adelaide is awesome after it rains.

The top half of this DH track is essentially a massive rock garden, sadly we were running out of light.

Getting a little airborne, Mo quickly gets this jump dialed in fading light.

Using some flash to fill in the foreground, the sky adds some depth and character to these photos.

All photos were taken using a Nikon D7200.
