Lewis and Tobias - Eagle Park - Photo Epic

Ah Eagle Park, one of the harder places to ride a trail bike in Adelaide, it has recently undergone a much needed refresh. I headed up there with Tobias Bracht, Lewis Denver and a backpack full of photo gear.

Tobias looking like a model from a clothing magazine.

It was Lewis's first ride on his Trek Slash 9.8. After spending some time getting used to the bike he was soon hitting the DH trails.

Tobias looking excited about the evening riding. Having just spend 12 weeks off the bike due to a collar bone and riding 35km that morning he was pretty tired.

Back up we go, shuttling DH trails on your trail bike is great fun and an excellent way of building up your skills.

Rockgardens, one of the best in Eagle, this one is usually ridden up. Great in both directions, it also makes a challenging climb.

That drop looks bigger from here. It leads into a tricky rut ridden section with lots of loose rocks.

Many different lines through the rock garden.

Lewis with his game face on after floating through the rocks.

Nice line through the rocks.

Scoping out new lines, Tobias visualising which one he will take on the next run.

First time hitting "On the Verge" on the new bike. Still needs some time to get used to it before he goes really big.

Australia also has some amazing wooded sections with gum trees and XC trails.

On a 35 degree day, its important to stay hydrated.

First run down the jump line, its been awhile since Lewis has run a dually. Didn't take long to get used to it though.
