Turns out the trail fairies have been busy in Sturt Gorge. There is flow sections, techy creek stuff and a couple of short hike a bikes. We got a bit lost trying to find the parking spot as we decided to park in a different spot to usual. The trail pretty much goes straight into the climb first with a sweet descent. Someone has been doing some work up that way and the trail is looking sweet.
Dropped into Craigburn and headed straight towards Horners Corners and Sturt Gorge. The river is currently absolutely beautiful, clear water and green plants.

The beautiful view looking back up the gorge, very green and the trails are hidden all over the valley.

Ah theres nothing ride destroying like a flat tyre. However, thats why you ride with dudes that work in bike shops. We have had plenty of practice at repairing them. Hmm, that looks like a strange stans ball in my tyre. Turns out you need to check yours stans levels a bit more often in warmer Australia.

Jason is my subject and I like playing with photoshop. The original is below but I prefer the black white and white and the blue one.

All up, a great ride. Id definately reccomend checking out the new Sturt Gorge trails. Run tougher tyres instead of lightweight XC ones and go get your flow on. Click on the map below for the strava page.
