Tonight I headed up to Sheppard's Hill with Oscar, an international student from China. He was keen to check out some more of Adelaide's trails. Only having ridden mountain bikes for about a year, I didn't want to scare him too much so we headed across to the new trails.

Pulling the bikes out of the car. Oscar's Lapierre was looking clean and shiny, time to get it a little dusty.

Short sharp pinch climb to the top. We stayed around the new DH trails since they offer a wide variety of features.

Getting the weight back. There are a few techy sections on these trails offering a challenge to even experienced riders.

Practicing cornering technique on the berms towards the top.

Nice rocky section going into the bottom section.

And back to the top we go.....

Taking the high line.

More cornering practice.

Lapierre.... nothing like going for a spin on the XC bike.

Rock garden ahead!

Off into the sunset/darkness we go.
Until next time....
