Ride Report - Sheps w/Andy

The guys I was meant to be filming with after work had to cancel, so I gave Andy a call to see if he had finished work yet. It's been awhile since I'd seen him due to injuries and work. After switching out brakes on his bike we headed for the new trails at Sheppards hill.

Andy had not ridden these and I was super keen to show him the new DH trails. After a quick warmup through the creek we headed for the main trails.

There are some great lines on these fast DH trails. Watch the crests like the one above and below as they can catch you out if you charge in them. Andy was pretty surprised at how much work and fun they were to ride.

Most of the larger features on DH1 are rollable, although you can go big like Andy here.

Checking out the view. It was beautiful on such a clear day. The city and the whole of Adelaide was clearly visible. It's pretty incredible how close the trails are to the city.

Same shot as before, but slightly different processing. The rock looks intimidating but you can roll the whole thing. OR take the BIG option and launch it like a pro.... Andy......
